Ceremony and Reception ⎹ 4:30pm

  • Front Lawn, Stout’s Island Lodge
    Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so we ask that you arrive to the front lawn of Stout's Island by 4:00pm.

  • Our ceremony will be followed by cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.

Dress Code We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. For this time of year in Wisconsin, may we suggest the following attire:

  • Women: cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn

  • Men: suit and tie or dress shirt and tie with slacks; jackets optional

Reservations for the Soderberg/Eitrem Wedding are required to be booked by

October 18, 2024

  • A minimum two night stay is required and deposit equal to fifty percent of your total stay is due at booking. These bookings will receive the 15% group discount.

  • Early Check-in opens at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16th. Standard Check-in at 3:00 p.m. Check out closes at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 18th. Haley & Ryley will additionally be staying on the island Sunday night, and would be delighted to spend extra time with those who are interested in relaxing just a little longer on the island!

  • Stout's Island Lodge is located on Red Cedar Lake in Birchwood, Wisconsin. The main island is 12 acres and the east island is 5.7 acres. Stout’s Island Lodge is a haven for recharging, unwinding, and reconnecting. This historic resort was built as a grand summer estate in the early twentieth century, and it retains unparalleled rustic luxury.

For those staying on the island…

Friday night,

there will be a welcome dinner on the patio with beer and brats by the bonfire!

Saturday and Sunday morning,

there will be a continental breakfast served from 7:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m in the dining hall.

Saturday afternoon,

while the bride and groom are preparing to walk down the isle, guests are welcome to explore nearby restaurants.

  • Coffee is plentiful in the main lodge dining room and common areas.

  • We have the entire island reserved for our wedding weekend, which means that the island restaurant will not remain open for regular meal service outside of wedding events. 

  • There are no stores or other restaurants on Stout's Island, so if you are someone that likes to snack during the day, please plan accordingly! 

  • Off-island restaurants and grocery stores are available in nearby Rice Lake and most rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave. Feel free to call Stout's Island Lodge if you have questions!

  • Nearby restaurants include Tagalong Golf and Resort and Red Cedar Lake Grill.

Travel

The ceremony and all events will be held on the Private Island of Stout's Island Lodge in Birchwood, Wisconsin.

To & From the Island

Ferry

  • The Stout’s Island ferry leaves the island for the shore 10 minutes to the hour.

  • The ferry arrives at the Shore House Dock on the hour and then returns to the Island.

  • Regular (non-Wedding Day) Ferry Hours: 7:50 AM – 10 PM daily

  • Wedding Day Ferry Hours: 7:50 AM - 12 AM Stout's ferries can hold a maximum of 10 passengers.

  • The ferry is for passengers only; no vehicles are allowed on the ferry or on the island.

  • All wedding guests can use the ferry, even if they are not staying on the island.

Directions

  • Stout's Island Lodge's address is 2799 27th Street, Birchwood, WI 54817.

  • This address will bring you to the resort parking lot, which adjoins a gravel path that will lead you to the Shore House waiting area and dock. The ferry will pick you up at this dock.

  • Stout's Island suggests entering "Stout’s Island Lodge" into your GPS device as a location instead of the address.

  • We have Tesla and Level 2 electric car chargers in the parking lot.
